The nominees for primate share their assessments of the present—and their hopes for the future
Anglicans are gearing up for the next meeting of General Synod, which is set to take place June 23-29 at RBC Place in London, Ont. in the diocese of Huron and will include the election of the 15th primate of the Anglican Church of Canada, as well as an update from the primate’s commission on re-imagining the church.
The church is approaching a time of important decisions—one which Anglicans can and should embrace with hope, Archbishop Anne Germond, acting primate of the Anglican Church of Canada, told Council of General Synod (CoGS) in her opening remarks March 7.
From Jan. 29 to Feb. 27, Sarah Lalonde provided medical care at the European Gaza Hospital, a trauma centre located in the southern town of Al-Fukhari near the Egyptian border.
